Responsibilities Support the mechanical engineering department in the document review of manufacturing drawings, inspection plans, workshop monitoring of production, and reports. Arrange visits to workshops and ensure the availability of components for manufacturing. Follow up on manufacturing activities progress with the team and report project time performance. Handle 2D software and manufacturing drawings. Ensure the equipment manufactured in the workshop is in accordance with the design drawings. Ensure the correct installation of components and equipment. Manage mechanical contractors in preassembly and assist the on‑site mechanical supervisor when required. Identify and report deviations and risks in project execution. Ensure compliance and development of the HSEQ requirements of GEA. Estimate and plan pre‑assembly hours. Act as responsible person for workshop documentation. Prepare and report progress reports. Review suppliers’ quality dossiers. Create and maintain comprehensive manufacturing management documentation. Inspect, verify, compare, measure, control, define, record, maintain and ensure the quality of the manufacturing process in accordance with procedures, standards and specifications. Support inspection, verification, and quality tests in the stages of receipt of raw materials. Comply with the quality inspection routines and execute quality plans during the production stage until delivery of equipment or components that meet established technical specifications. Guarantee optimal storage of finished products. Analyze and point out deficiencies, rework and scrap and devise solutions as a team. Ensure a smooth pre‑assembly process by monitoring compliance with job scheduling in terms of quality, quantity, on‑time delivery, and productivity. Release / liberate manufactured equipment. Support mechanical supervisors / site managers in the inspection, verification, and quality tests of site assembly at different project locations. Qualifications Knowledge of the latest manufacturing processes in machining, welding, assembly, inspection and quality control. Basic knowledge of materials selection. Strong sense of achievement; expects good standards of work, tenacious, and able to overcome barriers/solve problems. Proficient in using measuring instruments and equipment from the metrology process to carry out quality tests. Hygienic design know‑how. Knowledge of heavy load handling and lifting. Good knowledge of drawings, QAP, and welding map. Good knowledge of weld quality procedures. Demonstrated organization, time management, and prioritization of work.
