Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Trainee to join our production planning team at Valeo. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in various aspects of logistics and supply chain management within a dynamic automotive manufacturing environment. The trainee will support the production planning team in ensuring efficient material flow and on‑time delivery. Job Responsibilities Assist in the development and implementation of production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization. Support the monitoring of inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods, and contribute to inventory optimization efforts. Collaborate with suppliers and internal departments (e.g., procurement, manufacturing, warehousing) to ensure timely delivery and receipt of materials. Participate in data analysis related to logistics performance, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to problem-solving. Help maintain accurate logistics data within our ERP systems. Support the preparation of reports and presentations on production planning and logistics metrics. Learn and apply Valeo's logistics processes, procedures, and quality standards. Assist in identifying and resolving potential supply chain disruptions. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics and production planning functions. Job Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced and team‑oriented environment. Fluency in English (written and spoken). Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is a plus. Interest in the automotive industry and manufacturing processes.
