Summary The Sr. Account Manager – Toy Channel Mexico is responsible for developing, managing, and profitably growing Kids2’s business within the Toy Channel in Mexico. The role leads business results including sales volume, spending within budget, and share growth, collaborates across functions, and drives long‑term planning and execution. Primary Responsibilities Achieve profitable sales and share growth in alignment with sales plan goals. Define and implement the Toy category growth strategy across Traditional Market, Mass Merch, Specialties Stores, and Clubs. Lead complex negotiations with top retailers on pricing, trade terms, trade spend, space in key seasons, and launches. Lead cross‑functional teams to align priorities and secure consistent, on‑time implementations. Build and execute annual Joint Business Plans (JBP) with key accounts, including targets, initiatives, resources, and KPIs. Ensure price, portfolio, and positioning consistency within the broader omnichannel strategy. Act as the primary contact for daily operations of the business. Maintain current knowledge of external market factors to make informed account decisions. Share market, shopper, and competitive insights with Marketing, Trade Marketing, and Product teams. Monitor competitor activity and propose tactical and strategic responses. Promote the use of digital and analytics tools, including AI, to improve forecasting, segmentation, and commercial effectiveness. Critical Leadership Capabilities Delivers consistent results. Qualifications & Experience Minimum 5 years of commercial experience as an account manager in the toy or consumer goods sector. Past experience managing key Mexican accounts: Liverpool, Walmart, Chedraui, Soriana, Juguetron. Proven ability to develop collaborative relationships across national accounts and cross‑functional departments. Experience with financial and analytical work to manage account profitability and investments. Desired: Omnichannel experience, marketing and product‑management experience, knowledge of AI tools. Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business Administration, or related field. Intermediate English skills (able to report to and communicate with regional/global teams). Strong financial and analytical skills, detail‑oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations None required. Computer / Typing Skills Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Physical Demands Regularly required to sit, use hands, talk and hear. Occasional standing, walking, reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds. Requires close and color vision.
