Software Quality Assurance Senior Specialist – Guadalajara, Jalisco (MX-JAL) Job Duties: Test ETL processes across Informatica and Snowflake. Validate data between source systems, staging, and downstream applications using SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake). Run queries in DBeaver, SQL Developer, and SSMS to compare results and troubleshoot issues. Create and update test cases in Jira and log defects with clear documentation. Review data mappings, job logs, and verify that ETL runs completed correctly. Work with developers, BAs, and SMEs to clarify requirements and confirm expected outcomes. Use WinSCP for file management and version control. Skill Set: Strong SQL skills for data validation. Experience with ETL testing in Glue, Informatica, or similar tools. Comfortable using Jira. Software QA & Configuration Management Engineer (Medical Device Software) Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain software quality assurance processes aligned with IEC 62304, ISO 13485, and applicable regulatory standards. Own and manage the configuration management system, including identification, baselines, change control, and status accounting. Establish and maintain change management processes, ensuring traceability from requirements through design, implementation, testing, and release. Collaborate with engineering teams to define and enforce software development lifecycle best practices. Manage configuration items across mechatronics, software, and documentation.
