Responsibilities Requirements Gathering & Analysis Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements. Translate business needs into user stories, wireframes, and functional specifications. Work independently with support from Product Managers. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a bridge between business units and IT, ensuring clear communication and alignment; facilitate workshops and feedback sessions to refine requirements. Agile & Remote Collaboration: Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives; use tools like Jira, Confluence, and Miro for remote collaboration. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation including process flows, acceptance criteria, and change logs; provide regular updates to stakeholders on progress, risks, and dependencies. Qualifications Education or training in Information Technology or a related field. 3–7 years of experience in business analysis, preferably in software or SaaS environments such as Concur and GetThere. Specific knowledge of products like Concur, Citric, GetThere, Deem, and Seriko. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and digital product lifecycles. Job Description Application Consultants understand the client business process, current and future, and map it to the technologies being used, giving a demarcation of what can be achieved through a standard implementation and what would need customizations or extensions. They may functionally customize the application, partner with developers to design enhancements and extensions, and work with business users to implement process changes. Focus must be provided on building solutions and on maintaining, optimizing and improving clients’ applications and systems. Develop your knowledge in a business and an industry domain and a SaaS or Package Based solution. One can contribute to a business and technical blueprint and customize the respective Software Package Module. The consultant is responsible for unit testing, contributing to integration testing, and/or designing the delivery of end user training. Certification on a SaaS or Package Based solution and relevant methodology, as available.
