About the role Manufacturing Engineer will be collaborating with measurable improvements in manufacturing performance by reducing scrap rates, enhancing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and minimizing downtime. Additionally, strengthened process reliability through improved manufacturing capability indices (Cp/Cpk), ensuring greater consistency and quality in production output. Key Responsibilities Ensure all press operations comply with the machine safety requirement. Establish and maintain standard process windows for press parameters. Develop and validate setup sheets, standard work and reaction plans to ensure the manufacturing output. Support daily production by troubleshooting defects and downtime related to press systems, feeding, lubrication and forming conditions. Support ECNs and engineering trials. Support die tryout, debug and production readiness (progressive, transfer, forming). Define and sustain die protection strategies (misfeed detection, part presence, tonnage monitoring). Develop and implement PM standards for dies. Lead SMED projects to improve die changeover and equipment availability. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial or related Engineering with equivalent experience. Experience in a press shop / stamping environment supporting high‑volume production. Strong knowledge and hands on experience: Mechanical, servo, hydraulic press fundamentals (tonnage, stroke, shut height). Stamping defects and causes (burr, split, distortion). Setup standardization and manufacturing process control. Ability to read and interpret technical documentation (mechanical and electrical drawings).
