About the Company We are seeking a Project Cost Engineer with experience in automotive suspension systems to support cost estimation, analysis, and optimization across the product development lifecycle. Responsibilities Develop and maintain cost models for suspension components such as control arms, knuckles, subframes, stabilizer bars, springs, and dampers. Analyze manufacturing processes including forging, casting (iron/aluminum), machining, welding, and surface treatments. Perform should-cost analysis and detailed cost breakdowns (material, labor, overhead, tooling). Evaluate BOM structures and material consumption (steel, aluminum, bushings, fasteners). Support supplier cost benchmarking and VA/VE activities. Collaborate with engineering, purchasing, and program teams for sourcing decisions. Analyze raw material trends and support RFQs, sourcing, and negotiations. Evaluate NRE and tooling costs while ensuring alignment with program cost targets and timing. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Industrial Engineering, or related. 3–7+ years of experience in cost engineering, manufacturing, or product development within the automotive industry, preferably with suspension components. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and cost modeling. Experience with BOM analysis, supplier cost evaluation, and VA/VE. Advanced English required.
