Responsibilities This position is responsible for one important section inside TEF6, developing Standardized Work activities through time studies and MTM-1 analysis and balancing operator work on production lines. Create operator instructions, capacity tables, ergonomics analyses, layout development, routing creation, and control. Participate in validation and installation of new production lines or equipment according to internal Bosch procedures. Actively contribute to new projects to comply with Standardized Work requirements defined and maintained through time studies, MTM-1 analysis, PGL, Ergochecks, and other tools. Create and maintain operator instructions (PQIs), standardized work, line balancing charts, bottleneck matrices, etc., according to established formats. Develop time studies with specified frequency using CD‑, stopwatch or MTM-1 studies. Determine IE standard times (VT/TEB). Enter data into SAP using the CAPP time management tool. Support BP by creating routings and defining VS allowance time, cycle time, and number of operators (DOs and DNOs). Update production routings. Conduct ergonomics studies according to CD‑ for any location where the operator is involved (Ergo check and IGEL). Close open points and improve ergonomics conditions (Red and Yellow status). Perform ergonomics for MAE application (initial Ergocheck). Design, develop, and improve line layouts. Define and acquire accessories and racks needed for product handling based on TEF6 procedures. Communicate continuously with Value Streams in daily management to understand line needs and issues. Develop continuous improvement projects (System CIP) on production lines according to business cases defined with the VS team. Follow up and implement CIP suggestions, documenting results. Develop and train associates in ergonomics, MTM-1, and standardized work within the Method Room. Support automation, digitalization, and simulation initiatives. Implement internal and external projects related to TEF6. Calculate and forecast productivity on a monthly and CF basis. Ensure compliance with quality basics principles. Promote and support the Bosch Production System with involvement in System CIP projects, policy deployment, and teamwork. Follow up on labor discipline of personnel when applicable. Apply EHS policies, fulfill legal and corporate requirements and regulations, and adhere to safety procedures applicable to the area. Qualifications Proficiency in MTM-1, time studies, and Ergocheck + IGEL. Experience with SAP and the CAPP time management tool. Familiarity with TEF6 procedures and operating room practices.
