To facilitate the growth and development of all personnel toward quality awareness, skills & capabilities in all positions and thus to collaborate with our customer's success, lending support to solutions contributed by all functional areas. To oversee and enforce the regulatory compliance of our processes and products on a local, federal and international level. Responsibilities Food Safety and Quality Systems Design Designs, updates and deploys the organization's Quality Assurance Strategy and Quality Systems based on our global QS blueprint. Ensure workflow adherence to specifications and other requirements needed by customers and authorities; Sustaining improvements through robust specification & record management & applying pertinent continuous improvement methodologies. Supports Sales, Development and Innovation and Manufacturing in new product implementation. Authorizes all new product manufacturing procedures and their revisions. Oversees Quality-related improvements & procedures for the unit’s Logistics & Distribution network. Food Safety and Quality Control Measures the achievements of the Quality Assurance departments regarding decision making, updating and dissemination of training; ensuring commercial and regulatory compliance; improving as required on analytical instrumentation and calibration matters; following up on customer complaints until their total satisfaction and recurrence prevention. Oversees the overall effectiveness of the pest control function, approving on vendors. Instructs and oversees inter-area work for 92+ scoring in all internal and 95+ on external audits, emphasizing interarea. Regular visits and support to the factory and DC of the GF MX operating network. Communication and Alignment Keeps our customers informed on advances regarding our Quality System, helping the sales effort with sustained policies and quality audit scores. As member of GF Food Safety Council, helps to standardize and achieve global QS procedures relevant to the organization in a worldwide basis. The adscribed portion of global goals attainment in QS/QA is a permanent responsibility. Designs stretch goals for QA/QS and follows up on their indicators' accrual through the year, presently advising the organization for trends and needed policies for QA/QS goal attainment. Demonstrates adaptability by handling day-to-day work challenges confidently; is willing and able to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change; shows resilience in the face of constraints, frustrations, or adversity; demonstrates flexibility, always upholding food defense and food safety. Follows policies and procedures; completes administrative tasks correctly and on time; supports our organization goals and values; benefits organization through outside relationships and activities. Requirements Food Science, Chemical, Biochemical Engineering or related, minimum 6 years of experience leading teams in Quality Assurance in Food Environments. MBA a plus. High proficiency in Office software. ERP knowledge desirable. Statistical knowledge desirable. Advanced English.
