Position Summary The Accountant – SAP Implementation (Bilingual) will support a multi-entity SAP implementation and finance transformation project, bringing strong accounting fundamentals and hands-on SAP experience to a dynamic international environment. Based on-site in Mexico City with required travel to the United States, this role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of financial operations during system transition and beyond. Responsibilities Support SAP implementation activities including data migration, testing, and validation of financial modules. Assist in month-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all entities. Participate in financial statement preparation and consolidation across entities. Perform day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, IT, Operations) during system transition and identify process improvements and efficiencies within SAP. Support audit requests and maintain compliance with internal controls and financial reporting standards. Essential Functions Execute data migration, testing, and validation tasks across SAP financial modules as part of the implementation project. Prepare and post journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and process accruals as part of routine accounting operations. Support month-end close and financial statement preparation and consolidation across multiple entities. Identify and recommend process improvements and efficiencies within SAP and the broader finance environment. Support audit requests and maintain compliance with internal controls, documenting findings and resolutions as required. Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards across all accounting and finance functions. Perform other duties as assigned to support department and company objectives. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required. 2–3 years of hands-on SAP experience, preferably in FICO or related financial modules. Solid understanding of month-end close, financial reporting, and general accounting principles. Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken) — bilingual proficiency required. Ability to travel to the United States; must be 100% on-site in Mexico City with valid visa eligibility. Experience with multi-entity environments or consolidations is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated accountability and ownership of outcomes. Ability to accept and apply constructive feedback with professionalism and composure.
