Job Description The Sr. Advanced Test Engineer role is focused on the design, modeling, implementation, and testing of control systems primarily for pneumatic, hydraulic, and thermal systems. The role involves the implementation of control logic, mainly PID control, real‑time regulation, fast response, and system stability. Responsibilities Applied classic control system techniques in design and execution of pneumatic/hydraulic test solutions. Proficiency in MATLAB Simulink for modeling and simulation of control systems. Applied data analysis techniques to interpret test results and optimize control system performance. Expertise in mathematical modeling (plant models) of pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Ability to create evidence and documentation for Design Reviews to support the Test Solutions design process. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; responsible for the Controls & Modeling test engineering process and presenting status to stakeholders regularly. Ability to track and document lessons learned, best practices, test problems, and opportunities for cost and cycle time reduction in the controls design process. Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written communication in both Spanish and English, with effective communication across management, test leads, and Hon MRTC support groups. Qualifications Education and Experience B.S. degree in Electronics, Cybernetics, Controls, Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Software Engineering. At lest 6 years of experience in Test Engineering roles or Controls Development. Expertise in mathematical modeling and simulation. Strong knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and thermal systems. Applied thermodynamics and thermal control systems experience. Advanced use of MATLAB for simulation, analysis, and validation. We Value Commitment to safe working practices.
