Learn more about what DSO will mean for you in your new role here Responsibilities Safeguard site and field operations by ensuring full compliance with applicable environmental, safety, quality and occupational health legislation, as well as corporate standards. Support the site leadership team in compliance with the QHSE policy and programs, as well as their updates. Implementation, development and monitoring of the country\'s Legal and Corporate Safety, Occupational Health and Environment Requirements. Ensure the correct management of QHSE requirements that lead to compliance. Implementation of strategies for the establishment of QHSE goals and objectives in the sites of responsibility according to the needs of each operation and risks identified as critical. Guidance to site leaders and site coordinators to comply with the documentation required by the corporate QHSE department and local regulations. Implement a formal \"Train-the-trainers\" process on the sites involving the supervisors and coordinators of the site and all the people involved in the HSE training process on the site. Perform periodic evaluations to ensure compliance and effectiveness of the safety management system using any of the approved methodologies, such as audits (internal or external), safety tours, inspections, Crosschecking, etc. Ensure the correct performance on Safety, Health and Environment issues of contractors and visitors that are within our facilities. Implement and encourage the use of key QHSE indicators at sites in your region and monitor reactive indicators such as TRR, First Aids and Near Misses. Establish strategy and follow-up of indicators related to vehicle safety and field machinery, implementation of monitoring in cars, machinery and training necessary for compliance with legal policies and requirements. Ensure compliance with all points of the applicable management systems and develop risk assessments that lead to the establishment of appropriate controls, respecting their prioritization (elimination, replacement, engineering control, administrative, PPE). Lead the Emergency Preparedness Plan that may occur during the operation, ensuring the training of a brigade team as the first response in matters of site integrity, first aid, rescue, hazardous materials and evacuation of the facilities. Who You Are Bachelor education (Engineering / Agronomy/ Administration) Post-graduation Degree or MBA (desirable). At least 4 years of experience in HSE, Safety and Quality Management Systems, Official Mexican Standards of Occupational Safety, Occupational Health and Environment (desirable). Outstanding communication, organization, influencing, coaching and people management skills required.
