Responsibilities Develop suppliers and execute savings projects. Ensure each purchased item has an adequate supplier and support expediting processes. Place purchase orders for indirect material or services and provide support to plant areas such as Manufacturing, Maintenance, Logistics, Engineering, and Quality. Monitor vendor performance and coordinate with Purchasing for corrective actions to improve vendor development. Resolve problems related to delivery, pricing, and invoicing promptly to avoid material shortages. Implement material‑related projects and resolve discrepancy problems. Comply with the JCI Safety Commitment Letter and participate in safety subcommittees, safety audits, risk assessments, and the EHS program. Support the plant training program, provide staff training, and define corrective and preventive actions. Maintain system logs and review procedures and instructions. Identify and correct unsafe acts, recognize safe behavior, and report potential environmental impacts. Analyze and prevent the consequences of all actions before any activity. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. Experience as an indirect or MRO buyer in a manufacturing company, including forecasting, placement of indirect purchase orders, follow‑up, ensuring material supply, price negotiation, and supplier development. Fluent in English. Knowledge of SAP (preferred) or ARIBA system for requisition placement. Availability to adhere to scheduling requirements. Strong leadership, teamwork, service attitude, and ability to work under pressure. Excellent decision‑making, communication, analytical and negotiation skills. Experience in manufacturing plants (any industry). Knowledge of running queries and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
