Overview We are looking for a highly technical Commodity Buyer to manage the supply base for the \"brain and heart\" of our Cooling Distribution Units (CDUs). You will be responsible for sourcing high-reliability electronics, power management systems, and electro-mechanical products. Your goal will be to ensure that our power distribution and control systems are resilient, cost-effective, and localized within the North American region. Responsibilities Source high-reliability electronics, power management systems, and electro-mechanical products for the CDU platform. Strategically manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, on-time delivery, and cost competitiveness. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to localize and optimize power distribution and control systems in North America. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field. Experience: 6+ years in technical sourcing or manufacturing engineering within the electronics or electrification sector. Experience with power distribution, sensors, PCBA and harnessing is essential. Knowledge of trade compliance and quality management systems is desired. Advanced English (Fluent). Must be able to conduct technical reviews, negotiate contracts, and present localization business cases to corporate executives. Travel & Mobility Travel: Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to visit suppliers across Mexico and the United States.
