About the role The Production Supervisor (temporary role through October) is responsible for leading assembly and sub‑assembly production lines, ensuring compliance with production schedules while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. This role supports short‑term operational needs and customer commitments, driving performance through effective team leadership and continuous improvement initiatives in a high‑volume, high‑mix manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Supervise production personnel in assembly and sub‑assembly lines Ensure compliance with daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules Monitor KPIs such as efficiency, scrap, downtime, and productivity Coordinate line startups, model changeovers, and operational troubleshooting Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, SMED) Conduct time and motion studies to optimize manufacturing processes Balance production lines and improve operational capacity Coordinate corrective actions derived from quality issues Ensure compliance with industrial safety standards and proper use of PPE Collaborate with maintenance, quality, logistics, and engineering teams Train and develop operators and line leaders Prepare production reports and performance analysis Support cost reduction and process improvement projects Ensure adherence to manufacturing standards and operational procedures Requirements We are looking for proactive, results‑driven professionals with strong leadership and problem‑solving skills. Minimum qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related (IE / IMA) 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing or production environments Experience managing personnel or leading production‑related projects Experience in high‑volume / high‑mix manufacturing environments Intermediate to advanced English (preferred 90%) Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement tools (A3, 5S, Kaizen, SMED) Strong decision‑making and problem‑solving skills Exposure to production line transfers, ramp‑ups, or process changes Preferred qualifications Experience in line transfers (1–2 projects) Experience in fast‑paced environments with hourly production targets Knowledge in line balancing and capacity optimization Experience with new product introduction or processes not previously executed Benefits We offer a competitive total rewards package that may include other benefits and well‑being programs.
