Location Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico Department Materials, Planning & Logistics (MP&L) Reports To Operations Director Senior Position Summary The MP&L Manager will lead and optimize the Materials, Planning & Logistics function, ensuring the efficient flow of materials, production planning, inventory management, and customer deliveries. This position plays a critical role in driving Supply Chain performance, improving inventory turns, reducing working capital, and ensuring operational excellence while supporting customer satisfaction and business growth. Main Responsibilities Lead and develop the Materials, Planning & Logistics team. Define and execute the MP&L strategy aligned with plant objectives. Own and drive department KPIs, including OTD, inventory turns, supplier OTIF, fill rate, and inventory reduction. Lead the monthly S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process in collaboration with Sales, Finance, and Operations. Ensure raw materials availability to support uninterrupted production and schedule adherence. Develop and implement inventory reduction initiatives while improving inventory turns. Optimize warehouse operations and inventory management practices. Lead Supply Chain Tier 3 reviews, presenting performance metrics, corrective actions, and improvement plans. Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and corporate teams to ensure supply chain effectiveness. Key Responsibilities Drive continuous improvement initiatives across Supply Chain operations. Review and approve Master Production Schedules (MPS) and critical supply plans. Support strategic decision-making through KPI analysis and reporting. Manage department budgets and high-impact expediting decisions. Ensure compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and trade regulations. Lead customer and corporate supply chain reviews. Support digital transformation and process optimization initiatives. Promote talent development, engagement, and a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Required Education Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration (MBA), or Operations is desirable. APICS CPIM or CSCP certification is a plus. Experience Minimum 7 years of experience in Supply Chain, Materials Management, Planning, or Logistics roles within a manufacturing environment. At least 3 years in a leadership position managing teams. Proven experience in production planning and scheduling (MPS/MRP). Strong experience in inventory management, inventory reduction, and inventory turn improvement. Experience leading S&OP processes. Experience managing suppliers and strategic purchasing activities. Budget management and cost control experience. Technical Knowledge Supply Chain Management and Logistics. Production Planning and Scheduling (MPS/MRP).
