Manufacturing Engineer Location: Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico Employment type: Full time Posted Today – End Date: June30,2024 What You'll Do Define the process, tools, documents, and equipment. Design tooling and fixtures. Participate in problem‑solving using poka‑yoke methods and tools to prevent production errors. Generate and maintain PFMEA, Work Instructions, Visual Aids and other operational documents. Ensure tooling, fixtures, and equipment are optimally maintained. Collaborate with other departments on NPI, VAVE and CI projects. Attend daily SQDCP meetings and address opportunities identified. Provide appropriate training and certification for new hires in production, following Safety, Quality, and Productivity pillars. Control production spending within budget, considering short, medium, and long‑term impacts. Coordinate resources to implement manufacturing engineering changes in the production line. BOM structuring. Geometric tolerances. SPC, PFMEA, cost analysis for decision making. Budget preparation and analysis. Metric preparation for monitoring key performance indicators. Problem‑solving tools. Lean manufacturing. Required Qualifications 3 to 5 years in a similar position. Mechatronics, Mechanical or related engineering degree. Metal mechanic experience.
