Summary Leads the development and industrialization of new products and processes, ensuring successful execution from concept through production launch. Drives cross‑functional programs focused on cost reduction, operational efficiency, and strategic initiatives. Provides leadership and direction to an engineering team, including Industrial, Process, Design (Drafting), and Data Entry personnel. Job Responsibilities Lead end‑to‑end execution of new product and process development projects, from concept through launch and stabilization. Manage high‑visibility, cross‑functional programs focused on cost reduction, productivity improvements, and operational excellence. Define project scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables; ensure adherence to business objectives. Coordinate with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure alignment and successful project execution. Identify and mitigate project risks; elevate critical issues as needed. Drive implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives. Oversee process design, validation, and documentation to ensure robust and scalable operations. Ensure compliance with customer requirements, quality standards, and regulatory guidelines. Lead technical reviews, design reviews, and process readiness assessments. Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for Industrial Engineers, Process Engineers, Drafters, and Data Entry personnel. Standardize engineering practices, documentation, and data management processes. Support quoting activities, feasibility analysis, and cost modeling for new programs. Act as a key liaison between engineering and executive leadership for strategic initiatives. Requirements Strong program/project management skills (planning, execution, risk management) New Product Introduction (NPI) / New Product Development (NPD) processes Process development and industrialization Lean Manufacturing and cost reduction strategiesCore Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA) Data analysis and problem‑solving methodologies (8D, root cause analysis) Cross‑functional leadership and team management Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Bilingual: English – Spanish Years of Experience Required Minimum 5–7 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, or program management roles. Proven experience leading new product launches and cost reduction initiatives components. Educational Requirements Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
