Job Summary The Sr EC (Engineering Change) Technical Engineer is responsible for providing dedicated support in Engineering Change issues, enhancing the capabilities of the Engineering Change team to provide technical and administrative support to all Engineering departments. The Sr EC Technical Engineer will analyze ECNs, monitor close rates, coordinate implementations, and serve as the communication point for customers and auditors, ensuring consistent and effective application of engineering change processes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Analyze ECN (Engineering Change Notice) documents and the impact of engineering changes. Monitor the engineering change close rate and identify problems, driving corrective actions with workcell team members to improve the close rate. Provide guidance and advice to EC Technical Engineers as per the organizational chart. Take an interface role during customer audits, 3rd‑party audits, and full preparation for audits. Serve as the contact window to communicate with customers regarding ECN‑related matters and ensure consistent and effective communication with workcell team members. Analyze the working BOM and provide feedback to the engineering team for any BOM issues; guide and troubleshoot EC Technical Engineers on new BOM creation and BOM modification in SAP PLM. Coordinate ECN implementation by driving workcell team members to execute actions according to the checklist and follow up on the estimated effective date. Conduct regular ECN review meetings with customers. Support engineering change indicators by ensuring workcell meets quarterly engineering change goals; guide EC Technical Engineers to achieve these goals. Evaluate and schedule appropriate training for EC Technical Engineers on required work skills. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
