International Trade Compliance Work Mode: Onsite, Juarez Nuevo León Location: Presencial, Juarez Nuevo León Under the supervision of the Supervisor – Shipping & Receiving, this position is responsible for the control of all documentation related to the import‑export process of raw materials, fittings, machinery and the materials required for the company. The role includes updating all information of temporal importations and exportations in the Maquiladora software monthly, running the backflush report, converting all data to files and then uploading them every two months to the SAT web site. Responsibilities Administrate the Maquiladora Software, including maintaining updated bill‑of‑materials for finished goods and new products manufactured in Sanimex, ensuring data integrity and running validations. Perform audits to Annex 24 and Annex 31 (Interfaces, Operation’s Report, I/E Modules, BOMs, Product Values & Costs, Country of Origin, USMCA Certificates or Manufacturer Affidavit, Duty Payments, Prosec’s) and maintain updated information in the system. Ensure full compliance with new Customs Regulations, Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classifications in the US and Mexico, free‑trade agreements, etc. Monitor monthly import/export of raw materials, finished goods, equipment, scrap, non‑productive material, excess and obsolete (E&O) operations. Provide all documents or information to attend Customs audits from SAT. Ensure compliance with Mexican Customs, Mexican Governmental Agencies and Foreign Laws. Identify, control and administer risk and danger in own area; provide accurate information to the GTM VAT team related to the VAT certification; annual IMMEX, PROSEC and cost submission report; sub‑manufacturer and INEGI management. Generate monthly report and send it to the accounting department with information about the entry documents (Pedimentos) that pay tax (IVA) including a copy of the document; also include documents that Sanimex received from the tax credit of IVA to accomplish the IVA certification AAA from SAT. Support C‑TPAT program audits, annual security profile updates, validations, training, and related activities. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred (Education requirement). Minimum five years’ experience in import‑export activities. Knowledge of Mexican international trade legislation and conversational English. Ability to manage software and maintain data integrity. Strong analytical and compliance skills. Experience with Customs audits, reporting, and compliance with HTS classification and free‑trade agreements.
