Role Overview The Operations Manager is responsible for leading seca Mexico’s operational functions across Technical Service, Logistics, Warehousing, Administration, Finance, and HR. This role ensures operational efficiency, high service quality, and reliable business execution across the organization. This is a hands-on leadership role within an international organization, responsible for operational management, process optimization, financial oversight, and people leadership. You will work closely with the local leadership team and seca HQ in Hamburg, Germany, to support business growth, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Operations & Technical Service Lead Technical Service and after-sales operations, including repairs, maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer support for medical devices Ensure high service quality, SLA compliance, efficient workflows, and continuous process improvement Coach and develop operational teams while driving accountability and performance Warehouse, Logistics & Distribution Oversee warehousing, inventory management, shipping, receiving, and distribution operations Manage logistics partners, freight providers, and customs-related processes Ensure operational accuracy, efficiency, and cost control across the supply chain Finance, HR & Administration Oversee local finance, accounting, budgeting, KPI monitoring, and reporting to seca HQ in Hamburg, Germany Manage HR activities including recruiting, onboarding, payroll, and employee administration in compliance with Mexican labor law Supervise office administration, facility operations, contracts, and external service providers Leadership & Continuous Improvement Act as a key member of the local leadership team, leading multiple operational functions across the organization Define clear structures, responsibilities, and performance expectations Continuously optimize operational processes, SOPs, and KPIs to support business growth and scalability Ensure compliance with internal standards, local regulations, Regulatory Affairs, and Quality requirements Commercial & Business Support Provide strong operational and back-office support for Sales and customer-facing activities Manage operational budgets and support financially relevant business decisions and commercial evaluations Collaborate closely with local leadership and seca HQ to drive operational excellence and sustainable growth Your Profile: Degree in Engineering, Medical Technology, Science, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience Minimum 5 years of experience in Operations, Process, Service, or Supply Chain Management, preferably in a technical or service-driven environment Strong experience in process optimization, operational leadership, and KPI-driven management; Six Sigma or similar qualifications are a plus Experience in Technical Service, After-Sales, Customer Service, or related operational functions Analytical, hands-on, and solution-oriented mindset with strong organizational and time-management skills Strong leadership presence, customer orientation, and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively High willingness to learn, adapt, and continuously develop within the role Fluent English and Spanish communication skills, both written and spoken Experience working in international organizations and collaborating with corporate HQ structures is an advantage Why seca? 185 years of medical technology – four generations of family ownership – one team shaping the future together.
