Eaton’s AER FED Fluid Electrical Distribution division is currently seeking a Finance Analyst Lead. What you’ll do: Lead the financial activities of the Product Line in Tijuana, Mexico. Responsibilities include product line financial control, measurement and reporting and adherence with other Eaton accounting and financial reporting requirements such as SEC/GAAP reporting and Sarbanes‑Oxley, and lead financial requirements of customer new business proposals. Analyze and report cost drivers and spend activities for Division/Product Line business and engineering leaders, including but not limited to new development activities, cost estimation, and budget variances. The position is a key business partner that provides a direct link between the business unit activities in Tijuana and the management team. It drives continuous improvement utilizing the framework of the Eaton Business System (EBS) and the Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF). Essential Functions: Recommends improvements and service level growth to the Operations Finance Manager/Plant Controller. Reports financial activity to product line managers, engineering managers and functional heads to support development of product line processes, controls and measurement of the product line programs and key business customer contacts. Responsible for all accounting across the product line, assuring accurate and timely financial data is available monthly for review. Also provides timely divisional/plant financial reporting, while ensuring compliance with Tax and Group accounting policies. Prepares financial analysis and cost estimations for all new product line business proposals, capital investments, and potential new product development endeavors. Forecasts future CFROG and profitability, analysis of margins, and ROS. Prepares strategic plans, annual profit plans and monthly rolling forecast for the product line. Assists in communication of financial performance on product line to Division/Aerospace leadership, focusing on performance to goals and identifying areas for improvement and concern. Supports annual certification for compliance with Sarbanes‑Oxley requirements and continuous improvement of controls and processes. Develops strong allocation methodology, working with product line owners for ratification and confirms a strong financial basis with the Operations Finance Manager for allocation processes. Supports local government accounting standards and regulations compliance – US, Local and IAS. Effectively manages due dates and organizes resources to comply with due dates and timely reporting. Develops and implements financial management processes on product lines to assure control, benchmark and incorporate best practices across Aerospace. Drives continuous improvement and cost‑out activities. Qualifications: Basic qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Business • Minimum of five years of experience in financial management in a manufacturing environment • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred • Strong communication skills • Strong technical expertise (US GAAP/IAS) in accounting and finance, specifically in application to commercial/government development and production contracts • Proven success in leading teams and managing multiple projects • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills – ability to establish and work cross‑functional relationships • Proven leadership and possession of problem‑solving and analytical skills Preferred Specialized Knowledge (not required to be qualified for position): • CPA/MBA a plus • Knowledge and understanding of corporate, division, and plant reporting policies and key measurements. • Experience in product line and program accounting.
