Role Summary Flowserve is looking for a Buyer to guarantee the purchase of subcontracted components and services at the best price, quality and delivery conditions, in alignment with the global Supply Chain Team. The role involves developing and implementing purchasing strategies for Commercial Operations, focusing on increasing profitability and on‑time delivery, and strengthening the alignment between the company’s Purchasing and business strategies. You will own the supplier portfolio and collaborate closely with the supply team to improve delivery. Responsibilities Execute Just in Time principles to supply all material for facility projects. Negotiate the best prices and commercial conditions to maximize profit. Support service centers at the customer quotation stage to achieve competitive pricing and delivery terms. Follow up on orders to ensure on‑time delivery from external suppliers and inter‑company orders. Proactively identify and resolve issues with importing processes and coordinate problem solving for contractual deliveries. Set up supply agreements with key suppliers to secure preferential pricing and delivery. Review stock levels to maintain optimal inventory on site. Perform any other duties as assigned. Requirements Proficiency in purchasing techniques. Knowledge and implementation of technical requirements and quality at the purchasing level. Fluency in English. Strong understanding of all main purchasing areas: negotiations, supplier evaluation and development, supplier quality, logistics, etc. Knowledge of market requirements. Global and strategic negotiating skills. BS or BA Degree in a relevant field and 5–7 years of relevant experience.
