Job Description A Material Planner/Scheduler is responsible for ensuring that raw material parts required to manufacture products are available, thereby preventing production line stoppages. Using all supply‑chain tools and options, the planner supports the programming of a production plan that meets customer requirements on time and in the right quantities, while achieving MP&L Objectives and KPIs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Send supplier releases. Monitor supplier’s shipments. Avoid production line shutdowns. Ensure raw material availability to meet the production schedule. Avoid excess inventory or obsolete components. Expedite raw material when needed. Make claims for material damaged or lost in transit. Coordinate with the Launch Department for new vendors and create spot buys. Process extensions of materials in SAP. Generate a DMN if a supplier does not meet requirements and is causing a production shutdown. Verify that received material is correct in the system. Support the production plan (daily and weekly). Monitor the production plan for subassemblies and finished products, addressing non‑compliance and over‑production. Integrate different systems to align material availability with production/scheduling capacity. Prepare daily and weekly reports for production attainment. Escalate issues with CSR, Production, and Material Manager to meet BTS targets. Smooth customer demand flow. Meet inventory targets. Operate within the framework of internal work regulations, code of conduct, safety, hygiene, environment regulations, and other policies. Actively participate in continuous improvement activities per established plans. Follow the authority matrix defined in FTM‑EHS‑12 and ISO 14001 / 45001. Comply with policies and procedures pertaining to facility or divisional standards such as IATF 16949. REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE Education Bachelor’s degree. Fluent English (Level C1). Experience Experience in automotive companies. Knowledge EPR system SAP. Manufacturing processes and supply‑chain management. Customs processes. Material flow.
