Job Summary Analyze and troubleshoot network security events across the enterprise. Perform network, proxy, and firewall security solution administration, and ensure tools are optimized and performing to the best ability and perform complex tuning and filtering of devices. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Identify and correlate network solution security events and logs from various tools and present to Sec-Ops management via report. Analyze firewall requests from the business. Respond to and troubleshoot network security solution incidents from the Service Desk. Perform advanced security incident investigation and event correlation analysis. Analyze security violation reports for suspicious and dangerous activity. Use tools to perform analysis of the environment such as port scanning, vulnerability assessment tools, identify prohibited tools, etc. Perform Advanced level Health Check lists for Security Tools. Perform intermediate security tool administration as defined. Perform device tuning and filtering on assigned security tools. Ensure proactive steps are taken for any potential problems such as performance degradation, reliability/availability and security issues. Assist with security tool evaluation and implementation. Provide assistance with Incident Response investigations and activities. Participate in or lead projects or change initiatives as assigned. Participate in IT security or customer audit activities. Perform Mentoring and education for security staff members. Perform on‑call responsibilities as required. Maintain a thorough knowledge and in‑depth field experience regarding emerging or job technologies required to fulfill this position, this could include formal or self‑paced professional development. Assist in creating and implementing security standards, policy, guidelines, and practices. Drive continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and metrics management. Assure that procedures and work instructions are efficient and not redundant. Offer new ideas and suggestions for improvement. Identify and implement new practices and processes that are "best in field". Demonstrate a commitment to customer service; anticipate, meet and exceed expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively; making customer issues a priority. Confer with reporting manager on complex or unusual situations. Establish new measurement systems if/where possible. Exchange knowledge and information with other Jabil facilities to ensure best practices are shared throughout the Jabil organization. Education & Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Management of Information Systems. Or 5 – 7 years equivalent external work experience or equivalent formal training in related duties. Significant Security technology and tools experience required. IT experience is also required OR extensive knowledge of analyzing logs, network behavior, systems behavior, etc. Excellent documentation skills are also required. One or more of the following or similar certifications is preferred: CCNA, CISSP, GIAC, MCSE, Security +, or security tool certification. #J-18808-Ljbffr
