Position Summary Experienced bilingual purchasing and supply chain professional with proven expertise in managing indirect procurement, MRO, facility services, logistics, and capital equipment purchasing for multi-site manufacturing operations. Skilled in vendor negotiations, cost reduction initiatives, supplier relationship management, and operational support across high-volume industrial environments. Strong background in coordinating cross-functional purchasing activities while ensuring cost efficiency, timely delivery, and uninterrupted plant operations. Key Responsibilities Manage and implement commercial agreements with suppliers and service providers. Identify and execute cost-saving opportunities across multiple manufacturing sites. Coordinate and track savings initiatives across all indirect spend categories. Manage indirect procurement activities for multiple facilities, including: Packaging materials Freight & logistics (inbound/outbound, parcel, ocean, air, and ground transportation) MRO and operational supply purchases Facility maintenance and professional services Equipment and capital expenditure Oversee purchase order placement and supplier coordination for assigned locations. Provide logistical support for expedited and critical materials. Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to improve pricing, service levels, and lead times. Support continuous improvement initiatives within purchasing and supply chain operations. Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and finance teams to support plant objectives. Monitor supplier performance, delivery metrics, and procurement KPIs. Ensure compliance with corporate purchasing policies and procurement procedures. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Fully bilingual: English / Spanish. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. Experience with MRO procurement and indirect purchasing. Knowledge of manufacturing and automotive supply chain environments. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software. Working knowledge of AI tools and technology platforms. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work effectively under pressure and in fast-paced environments. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and multitasking abilities. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in indirect purchasing, MRO procurement, or supply chain operations preferred. Manufacturing and/or automotive industry experience preferred. Experience supporting multi-site operations is a plus.
