Perform initial and ongoing credit analysis of banks, insurance companies and non-bank financial institutions in Mexico and the broader Latin American region Conduct detailed quantitative analysis of financial statements, regulatory metrics, economic indicators and market data Produce high-quality, in-depth research reports covering issuers, credit trends and sector-specific developments Develop clear and well-supported rating rationales and present analyses effectively at rating committees Actively monitor assigned portfolios and recommend timely and appropriate rating actions Establish and maintain strong relationships with issuers and investors through meetings, industry engagement and topical research Stay informed on macroeconomic, regulatory and industry developments affecting financial institutions in the region Mentor and support the development of junior analysts and associates, fostering analytical rigor and professional growth About the Team The Financial Institutions Group is a highly collaborative and intellectually rigorous team responsible for delivering independent credit opinions on banks, insurance companies and other financial institutions across Latin America.
