About the team/ Offering (Optional) Our IT Outsourcing and infrastructure services teams help clients operate reliable, optimized, and secure mission-critical systems at a lower cost while simplifying existing infrastructure investments and supporting modernization initiatives, including cloud transformation. The team supports local infrastructure, telecommunications, data center operations, security compliance, business continuity, and technology projects that enable clients to maintain resilient and efficient IT environments. About the Role Essential Job Functions As a Technology Coordinator, you will lead and coordinate the local infrastructure and telecommunications team, including telecommunications and data center coordination. You will oversee infrastructure operations, service delivery, project execution, budget management, incident escalation, security compliance, risk administration, and customer-facing status reporting. You will serve as a key technical point of contact for business areas, internal support teams, regional stakeholders, and external providers, ensuring that infrastructure, technology, architecture, and security requirements are addressed effectively and aligned with customer needs. Lead and coordinate the local infrastructure and telecommunications team, including telecommunications coordination and data center coordination. Prepare capacity, utilization, and performance reports for telecommunications infrastructure and server environments. Coordinate and ensure proper execution of budgets, including OPEX/CAPEX forecasting and consumption reporting. Coordinate infrastructure and IT technology projects, including the implementation of new IT solutions and technologies. Create and present project status updates, including incident, request, escalation, activity, and implementation progress as required by the customer. Escalate and follow up on telecommunications and server incidents, as well as infrastructure and IT-related business escalations. Receive, coordinate, address, and elevate business requests related to infrastructure, technology, and IT architecture. Maintain strong knowledge of the customer’s infrastructure, solutions, and internal processes, applying advanced technical expertise to support and defend customer interests with external providers. Support internal and external audits by coordinating and delivering evidence for auditable processes. Follow up on security patching activities performed by local and global customer support groups. Monitor technical security standards by coordinating continuous scans of customer technology devices to detect policy non-compliance and follow up on remediation actions. Administer assigned risks by identifying, documenting, assigning, and tracking remediation plans through closure within required timelines based on criticality. Coordinate ITSC activities, including documentation, planning, and delivery of DRP-related documents for critical applications and primary sites in Mexico. Support access control reviews for administrator permissions and user access to critical applications, ensuring reports are delivered accurately and on time to regional stakeholders. Coordinate vulnerability management activities, including monthly or customer-requested scans, reporting detected vulnerabilities, and assigning remediation to the appropriate teams. Support antimalware administration services or other server agents as required. Prepare monthly reports summarizing key events, critical issues, lessons learned, and escalations when applicable. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computing, Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. With at least 3 years of experience as a Team Lead. Cisco networking certification required, preferably CCNP or higher. Proven experience managing infrastructure technology environments, including telecommunications, servers, and data center operations. Strong knowledge of network traffic, network segmentation, network security, and network topology design for new services and projects. Experience coordinating IT infrastructure and technology projects. Experience with budget execution, OPEX/CAPEX forecasting, and budget consumption reporting. Ability to manage incidents, escalations, business requests, security compliance activities, risk tracking, and audit evidence delivery. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate with customers, business areas, support teams, regional teams, and external providers. Advanced English level required for global collaboration. Other Qualifications Experience with security patching, technical security standards, vulnerability management, antimalware administration, and access control reviews is preferred. Knowledge of ITSC, DRP documentation, business continuity practices, and critical application support is preferred. Experience supporting audit processes and coordinating evidence delivery for internal and external audits is preferred. Ability to create clear operational, project, incident, risk, and monthly status reports is preferred. Continuous learner who stays current with industry knowledge, infrastructure technologies, and security practices is preferred. Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills are preferred.
