Main Responsibilities Coordinate and optimize material flow between production areas and storage locations. Plan and manage component storage based on MIN/MAX strategies, ensuring optimal inventory levels and minimizing WIP. Develop and implement efficient storage concepts and warehouse layouts. Analyze and continuously improve physical, system, and process flows. Optimize packaging materials, including inter‑operational packaging solutions. Identify operational issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics performance and efficiency. Design and implement internal logistics concepts for new and existing operations. Set up and validate primary logistics flows for new product launches. Define and monitor KPIs related to process efficiency, equipment utilization, and labor productivity. Apply lean manufacturing principles to streamline logistics operations. Lead or support initiatives focused on material flow optimization and process standardization. Utilize SAP MRP (or equivalent ERP systems) to manage material planning and logistics flows. Ensure alignment between system data and physical processes. Support digitalization and automation initiatives within logistics processes. Work closely with Production Engineering (PI) on layouts, standards, and process solutions. Collaborate with Launch teams to support new program implementation. Partner with Packaging, IT, and other logistics stakeholders to drive innovation and improvements. Coordinate with internal logistics teams to ensure alignment and execution of strategies. Provide support during operational disruptions, including material shortages and flow interruptions. Assist in resolving urgent logistics challenges and crisis situations. Train employees on logistics processes, standards, and best practices. Required Profile Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field. 3+ years of experience in internal logistics, or material flows optimization related roles. Knowledge of warehouse layout, inventory strategies (Min/Max), and lean principles. Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and KPI management skills. Project management experience, including new product launches. Effective cross‑functional communication and collaboration. Lean / Six Sigma knowledge and automotive or high‑volume manufacturing experience preferred.
