This role leads the execution of automotive NPI and sustaining projects at Molex, acting as the primary driver of cross‑functional alignment, customer communication, and engineering change execution in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Our Team You will be part of the NPI / Project Management organization, working closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Operations, and global division teams across the US and Europe to successfully launch and sustain automotive programs. What You Will Do Drive cross‑functional execution during NPI and sustaining phases by aligning teams around clear deliverables, timing, and ownership. Act as the primary interface between Molex and external customers (OEMs and tier suppliers), ensuring transparent communication of status, risks, and changes. Provide clear project visibility through structured meetings, concise minutes, and disciplined schedule management. Own project‑level financial performance by planning, tracking, and forecasting budgets end‑to‑end. Lead customer audits, visits, and validation milestones (DV, PV, PPAP), ensuring readiness and disciplined follow‑up. Enable successful production readiness by coordinating and supporting trial runs, proactively removing blockers on the shop floor. Lead engineering change execution (ECN/PCN) by defining clean points, change coverage, and ensuring alignment with internal teams and customers. Reinforce a culture of accountability by driving corrective and preventive actions resulting from audits, tests, or production issues. Escalate risks early and propose practical mitigation plans in collaboration with technical and operational teams. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field). 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, NPI, manufacturing, automotive, or electronics environments. Experience working with cross‑functional teams in a plant or production setting. Advanced English (B2 level or higher) for customer interaction and global collaboration. Willingness to work on‑site and directly engage with operations and production teams. What Will Put You Ahead Exposure to automotive NPI, APQP, DV/PV, or PPAP activities. Experience supporting or leading engineering changes (ECN/PCN). Comfort operating in fast‑changing, high‑pressure environments.
