Responsibilities Define the account strategy in partnership with SAP Sales and the partner ecosystem. Bridge the gap between customers’ business strategy and solutions by crafting to‑be business and solution architectures and designing transformation roadmaps at the enterprise level. Support assessment of current customer solutions, identify opportunities for faster solution adoption, consumption, and footprint expansion. Engage customers throughout sales cycles as an integral member of the SAP account team. Drive business and IT architecture definitions to ensure consistency and alignment with SAP organizations, customers, and partners. Provide linkage from the customer to SAP product‑development leadership. Support building customer demand through appropriate thought‑leadership positioning. Understand customer business process maps and business models with an industry reference architecture focus. Understand the current enterprise landscape and future needs of the customer. Drive positioning of standard cloud architectures (plug‑&‑play) leveraging standard cloud solutions. Drive business architecture and capability mapping to solution design. Ensure IT feasibility of the business capabilities mapped to SAP solution architecture. Support definition of a customer cloud transformation roadmap focused on business and application needs. Drive definition of a customer cloud/hybrid transformation roadmap focused on standard cloud application and technology. Align living roadmap with current adoption/solution consumption. Support governance and adaptation of the living roadmap based on evolving customer needs and SAP solutions. Drive solution expansion by highlighting value and linkages to the broader SAP portfolio. Qualifications Considerable experience as an IT or Enterprise Architecture Advisor in software/IT organizations. Specific expertise with software solutions through Solution Management, Sales, Pre‑sales, Adoption/Consumption, Consulting, or Business Development, demonstrating successful outcomes over multiple years. Ability to represent SAP as a trusted advisor within SAP and/or the market. Deep knowledge of Cloud, Hosted Services, SaaS/PaaS models, and cloud‑based commerce/business networks. Proven professional networks that drive pipeline and revenue growth for SAP. Proven track record of success in the required industry area, if applicable. Proven leadership and project‑management experience. Proven experience driving tangible outcomes in Enterprise Architecture for customers. Fluency in English; fluency in other languages is an asset. Fluency in the language of local markets is desirable. Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent degree preferred. Togaf or SAPIEA‑10 certifications and experience using EAM tools are added value.
