Role and Responsibilities The GBS Process Improvement & Analytics Lead is responsible for designing, deploying, and sustaining a standardized continuous improvement (CI) and performance management capability across the Global Business Services (GBS) Source to Pay (S2P) organization. This role serves as the horizontal engine for transformation, enabling the GBS Source to Pay (S2P) function to improve efficiency, quality, and customer experience through Lean Daily Management, analytics, process redesign, and automation enablement. The role owns the improvement methodology, performance cadence, and analytics framework, while partnering closely with GBS Functional Leads, Global Process Owners (GPOs), and Enablement teams. The ideal candidate will bring strong business acumen in process improvement, analytics, and Lean principles, with the ability to design, deploy, and sustain data‑driven performance management and continuous improvement to ensure processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with enterprise objectives. Accountabilities Global Process Development & Lean Daily Management Leadership Define and own the GBS Procurement CI strategy, approach, and standards including use of Copeland systems to support Develop CI capability across GBS Procurement through coaching, training, and playbooks Establish a repeatable improvement lifecycle (identify, prioritize, execute, sustain) Govern a GBS Procurement wide improvement portfolio, ensuring alignment to enterprise priorities and value cases Provide thought leadership on Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and agile improvement practices Design and deploy Lean Daily Management (LDM) routines across GBS Procurement teams Establish standard tiered performance reviews, visual management, and problem‑solving routines Enable leaders to manage performance through data, root‑cause analysis, and structured escalation Identify opportunities for simplification, automation, and digital enablement Define and deploy future‑state process improvement solutions, including AI‑enabled analytics, Lean Daily Management routines, and automation opportunities, to systematically identify, prioritize, and deliver sustainable efficiency, quality, and value improvements across GBS Ensure improvements are sustained through standard work and management routines Support and lead GBS Procurement analytics and insights as required, including operational/performance metrics (KPI) definition and performance dashboards Process Improvement, Analytics, and Transformation Drive year‑over‑year improvements in efficiency, cost to serve, cycle time, and quality Partner with functional leads to translate operational data into actionable insights Enable data‑driven decision‑making across service delivery, productivity, quality, and customer experience Support benefits tracking and value realization reporting tied to business cases Lead cross‑functional process redesign initiatives (end‑to‑end where applicable) Support transition from as‑is to standardized future‑state processes Ensure alignment with global process standards and control requirements Strategic Partnership & Cross Functional Alignment Partner with Change and Enablement teams to drive adoption and sustainment Actively engage across GBS Procurement locations; regular on‑site presence expected Promote a culture of improvement, transparency and collaboration among site leads and business liaisons across geographies Collaborate with functional leadership on strategic initiatives/alignment, investment needs, etc. Work with countries’ business leaders to review any requests to deviate from the standard process, and identify opportunities to maximize alignment Essential Qualifications and Experience Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field 8+ years of experience in Procurement, Source‑to‑Pay, process improvement, operational excellence, and analytics Prior experience in GBS, Shared Services, or large‑scale operations Demonstrated success leading enterprise or multi‑function improvement portfolios Strong working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and performance management Experience building and using operational analytics and KPIs Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive change Strong understanding of S2P controls, compliance, and financial integration Demonstrated success driving transformation, standardization, and automation Proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing best practices in a Global environment Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and project management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams, stakeholders and regions. Passion for sustainability and commitment to aligning processes with organizational sustainability goals Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Familiarity with Oracle and procurement systems Experience with analytics, reporting, and visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) Skilled in gathering, understanding, and implementing processes Ability to organize, analyze, and derive insights from large unstructured data sets Ability to analyze performance metrics and data to support decision‑making and strategic planning Fluency in English both spoken and written, is required Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in a relevant field Lean/Six Sigma certification preferred Benefits Flexible and competitive benefits plans offer the right options to meet your individual/family needs.
