Amazon’s Operations team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated manager to oversee daily inventory control, quality assurance, and capacity activities for our Warehouse. These activities play a critical role in leading best sortation, delivery practices, and capacity management inside the Warehouse, directly impacting Amazon’s ability to serve customers on time. Key job responsibilities Create a balance between “Work hard” and “Have fun” with associates under scope. Execute internal audits and ensure the team accomplishes business goals. Support process improvement activities associated with process inefficiencies and/or new functions not performed in day‑to‑day operations. Assist in the development, documentation, deployment, and monitoring of key business processes that support all internal processes of AMZL Mexico. Follow up and analyze the KPIs of operations within the delivery station, implement and develop workflow and metrics according to standard work and processes to achieve year‑over‑year improvements. Actively support and promote organizational change. Measure drivers’ performance, discipline, and customer experience service; map processes, implement change, and/or develop new processes to better serve Amazon customers and reduce costs. A day in the life Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce. Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises. Collaborate with all support teams—including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources—to develop plans to meet business objectives. Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach. Stand or walk for up to 12 hours during shifts. Work in an environment where noise levels vary and can be loud. Work in an environment subject to variable temperatures and weather (delivery stations include outside loading departments). Continuously climb and descend stairs (applies to sites with stairs). Delivery Station Manager is the support for the complete mile operations within a delivery station, a key part of the last mile operation. The role is responsible for managing a +20 hourly team, safety metrics, attrition, payroll, shifts, vacations, overtime, and the AMZL OPS metrics—delivery efficiency, number of routes, and cost per shipment. In addition, this role provides support in purchasing tools, services, and consumables for the station. Basic Qualifications 1+ years of employee and performance management experience. Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays. 2+ years of performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques experience. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Speak, write, and read fluently in English. Speak, write, and read fluently in Spanish. Preferred Qualifications 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques experience.
