About the role The purpose of this position is to enhance the plant’s asset performance by integrating maintenance engineering, reliability management, and TPM practices into a unified, cohesive system that supports long-term equipment health and operational stability. The role drives the deployment of corporate Maintenance Excellence initiatives, ensuring that reliability principles and TPM methodologies reinforce one another and are consistently embedded into daily operations. Through technical leadership, standardization, and capability development, this position enables cross‑functional teams to reduce failure risk, strengthen asset condition, and achieve measurable, sustainable improvements in equipment availability, performance, and lifecycle value. Key Duties And Responsibilities Lead the auditing and coaching processes for TPM and Reliability‑related activities across all project teams, ensuring methodological rigor, adherence to standards, and continuous maturity progression. Maintain and update the integrated TPM & Reliability Master Plan. Serve as custodian of the site’s TPM and Reliability learning system by developing, standardizing, and governing training materials, templates, and technical content. Ensure alignment with corporate methodologies while enabling effective capability development at all functional levels. Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of Asset Condition Management by integrating condition data, degradation trends, and performance insights into preventive, predictive, and autonomous maintenance strategies. Lead the annual Equipment Criticality Assessment, applying risk‑based and value‑driven evaluation criteria. Ensure outputs inform maintenance strategy updates, TPM deployment prioritization, resource allocation, and mid‑term planning. Develop and govern the site’s equipment performance analytics framework, including MTBF, MTTR, failure pattern recognition, recurrence analysis, and data integrity validation. Ensure insights drive maintenance strategy decisions and operational priorities. Act as subject‑matter expert in Root Cause Analysis. Facilitate cross‑functional investigations and ensure effective application of structured problem‑solving methodologies to eliminate recurrence and reduce systemic risk. Ensure consistency, clarity, and effectiveness of visual management systems representing TPM and Reliability performance. Establish governance mechanisms to monitor asset health, risk levels, improvement progress, and operational stability. Identify, document, and share best practices, improvement insights, and innovation outcomes across the site and with global teams. Contribute to corporate knowledge transfer, benchmarking, and cross‑site collaboration. Serve as the site lead for Early Equipment Management (EEM), ensuring reliability, maintainability, standardization, and lifecycle cost considerations are embedded into equipment design, acquisition, installation, commissioning, and modernization processes. Design and facilitate technical workshops, structured problem‑solving sessions, and alignment events supporting the site’s MEx Strategy and Roadmap. Ensure cross‑functional collaboration and disciplined execution of improvement initiatives. Coordinate the deployment and sustainability of TPM program across operations teams, enabling autonomous maintenance, fundamental equipment care discipline, operator engagement, and early detection of developing failure conditions. Collaborate with the Continuous Improvement (CI) team to execute the site’s Transformation Plan for SAMP, PM, and EEM pillars. Ensure synchronized implementation of TPM and Reliability initiatives to achieve measurable performance improvements and operational stability. Demands for education, training, and competence Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Proven experience implementing and sustaining TPM, Reliability, or Maintenance Excellence systems. Solid understanding of Reliability‑Centered Maintenance (RCM) principles, including functional analysis, failure modes, and maintenance strategy development. Experience leading engineering or operational projects with measurable results. Strong analytical and structured problem‑solving skills, including application of RCA and reliability methodologies. High mechanical and technical aptitude with the ability to understand equipment behavior and failure mechanisms. Experience in medical devices or other regulated industries is an advantage. Strong self‑initiative, motivation, and results‑driven mindset. Ability to coordinate and collaborate effectively across multifunctional teams. Team‑oriented leadership with influencing and coaching capabilities at all organizational levels. Ability to establish priorities and manage competing demands effectively. Strong organizational discipline with consistent attention to detail. Excellent communication and presentation capabilities for technical and non‑technical audiences. Ability to interpret complex technical and operational data in a clear and actionable manner. Proficiency in English (verbal and written) with strong interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining professionalism and sound judgment. Capacity to plan and manage workload efficiently under time constraints. Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision. Experience developing, updating, and managing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Foundational training in the site’s integrated EEHS Management System, including awareness of environmental, energy, and safety policies, operational controls, significant aspects and risks, legal obligations, and emergency response expectations.
