Advanced Manufacturing Engineer – Power BU Advanced Manufacturing Engineer will lead and oversee multiple projects on the Power Business Unit, focused on Reynosa Operations. Responsibilities include product transfers, new product introduction programs, process improvements, and capital projects to support growth for the new Power Plant in Reynosa Building D and the standardization of manufacturing processes across Vertiv plants. The position also coordinates the development and enforcement of global manufacturing standards and technology leadership, interacting directly with Design Engineering, Program Manager, and Operations Team at the target site to coordinate and execute NPDI milestones and deliverables. Responsibilities Work closely with Line of Business Leaders to ensure manufacturing plans are aligned to Product Roadmaps. Responsible for End‑of‑Line testing equipment, parameters, scripts and Capex associated. Lead, develop and implement manufacturing plans for assigned new products according to the NPDI program. Lead and provide direct support for plant‑to‑plant product transfers and new product development programs. Support Vertiv manufacturing operations using standard processes, equipment, and manufacturing methods. Identify, justify, pilot, and commission advanced manufacturing technologies, processes, equipment, and practices; oversee capital projects that support growth, NPDI, product transfers, technical capacity, and footprint decisions. Provide support for manufactured cost analyses for new and existing products. Execute the Manufacturing Readiness Checklist and deliverables of the NPDI process. Lead Manufacturing prototype builds with the local operations team to achieve a two‑week lead time. Act as accountable and supportive role for Engineering prototype builds with Design Engineering. Actively intervene in growth strategies for the assigned BU, footprint, and technical capacity definition. Implement best manufacturing practices for existing processes and provide multi‑site manufacturing engineering support. Assist with business‑critical capital projects, including facility planning, layout, and cost justification. Qualifications Minimum: BSME/IE/Business Operations Management and 3‑5 years of manufacturing experience or equivalent. Preferred: MSME/IE/MBA and 5+ years of advanced manufacturing experience. Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma formal training or certifications. Requirements Extensive knowledge of formalized advanced and lean manufacturing applications. Extensive experience in new product development and product transfers. Excellent vertical communication, interpersonal, and motivation skills. Demonstrated ability to think creatively; ability to coach, train, facilitate, and lead teams effectively in a transformational work environment. Demonstrated strong project management and technical skills; analytical skills; PC skills. Demonstrated ability to achieve results through team building and teamwork.
