Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Social Media Manager based in Mexico to lead local social media operations and develop a content strategy. This role will be responsible for building brand presence, improving online sentiment, managing local content execution, and driving audience engagement across digital platforms. The ideal candidate deeply understands Mexican internet culture, social trends, and platform behaviors, while also being capable of balancing brand storytelling with performance‑driven Social Media Strategy & Operations. Responsibilities Develop and execute localized social media strategies across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, and YouTube.Build monthly content calendars aligned with branding and campaign objectives.Manage day‑to‑day social media operations, publishing schedules, and community engagement.Monitor social sentiment and proactively manage online with design, branding, and marketing teams to create localized content.Lead content ideation for UGC, trend‑based content, educational content, and campaign storytelling.Support influencer and KOL/KOC campaign execution.Ensure all content aligns with brand positioning and local market tone.Analyze platform performance, audience behavior, and campaign effectiveness.Stay updated on platform algorithm changes, social trends, and competitive activities in Mexico. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or content marketing Strong understanding of Mexican social media culture and consumer behavior Proven experience managing brand social media accounts at scale Experience in fintech, lifestyle, consumer internet, or startup brands is preferred Strong copywriting and storytelling skills Familiar with social analytics tools and content planning systems Experience working with influencers, creators, or PR agencies is a plus Strong communication and project management skills Fluent in Spanish and English #J-18808-Ljbffr
