Global AME Senior Industrial Project Leader Coordinates and manages global projects and processes within a manufacturing environment for NPDI projects and plant-to-plant transfers. Collaborates with cross‑functional teams globally to drive time‑to‑market requirements, operational excellence, and capacity planning to support business growth. Contributes to scenario planning and project execution management, translating the voice of the customer into Design for Manufacturing, FMEA analysis, supply‑chain mapping with optimization of lead time, cost and capital, prototyping & piloting, manufacturing facility layouts, and product line testing. Responsibilities Drive and coordinate the manufacturing requirements of new products, from project concept to manufacturing release of new products. Coordinate and track all stages of prototype and pilot runs. Work with Manufacturing Engineers and Materials teams to develop documentation for new products (bills of material, routings, and manufacturing instructions). Communicate project requirements, actions, and status with other departments. Develop and implement product quality standards between production plants, evaluate and improve manufacturing methods for maximum efficiency. Estimate resource requirements, production times and schedule for manufacturing processes. Drive the industrial scope as it relates to the specific project requirements. Collaborate cross‑functionally and globally with NPDI & supply chain teams. Develop overall Supply Chain Architecture to support key customer requirements. Perform value‑stream mapping of the entire process, including customer touch points (configurators/ordering tools). Conduct make‑vs‑buy studies. Design, develop, and deploy equipment, tools & fixtures. Provide feedback to the design team about Design for Manufacturability, assembly, and test. Drive alignment to the Product Cost expectations throughout the NPDI project implementation. Coordinate the manufacturing requirements of new parts, from project concept to release of new products. Initiate manufacturing technology innovations and oversee implementation, including new requirements for key processes that are unique to a new product design. Track and publish NPDI deliverables using defined tools and databases. Qualifications Minimum 4‑8 years of experience in an Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering environment. Effective process & organization skills, ability to manage multiple key initiatives. Project management skills/tools. Ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams within a project execution. Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering/Technology or equivalent experience. Experience in NPD/NPI. PMO certification or equivalent experience. Additional / Preferred Qualifications Advanced Manufacturing training/ expertise (e.g., Lean, Six‑Sigma). Strong DFM experience/knowledge. Strong knowledge of PMP processes. Knowledge in new manufacturing line setup. Knowledgeable in product cost management.
