Responsibilities Advise and offer products and services to customers to achieve sales objectives and develop frequent customers and credit. Perform a variety of over-the-counter customer service, administrative and clerical duties requiring direct and indirect customer interface. Assist customers by tracing packages, answering questions regarding FedEx products and services, and providing over-the-counter and phone service. Check packages to ensure proper labeling, legality of content including weight and size, proper wrapping, insurance values, special requirements for hazardous material shipment, and compliance with customs documentation required at destination. Collaborate with the fulfillment of the budget, income/expenses, and support the optimisation of branch profitability. Responsible for opening and closing the branch, keeping the work area clean, checking furniture and supplies. Recognize new customers or additional business opportunities, open new accounts, obtain extra shipments, and submit sales leads. Ensure an excellent customer experience by developing and providing adequate solutions to different types of customer problems. Follow commercial and administrative processes, communicating with the involved areas. Safeguard company values and avoid deviations, missing and mishandling in the WSC. Request necessary supplies to carry out daily documentation and packaging of shipments. Minimum Requirements High school degree or equivalent. Proficiency in English. Two (2) years of customer service experience focused on sales. Knowledge in cash and other value management. Previous experience in a FedEx SCS Warehouse with good knowledge of operations and key customer requirements. Required Skills Ability to lift 75 lbs (34 kg) and maneuver packages weighing up to 150 lbs (68 kg) with appropriate equipment. Accuracy and attention to detail. Planning and organizing skills. Interpersonal skills. Problem-solving skills. Ability to determine and co-ordinate sequences of tasks for self and others.
