The Role The Talent Acquisition Manager - LAC is responsible for managing sourcing and/or end‑to‑end recruitment activities for Director and General Manager roles for full and select service hotels across the subregion. Supporting a portfolio of 42 operating hotels, with an additional 4–5 hotel openings anticipated over the next three years, this role will partner closely with hotel leadership, HR teams, and regional stakeholders to attract, assess, and hire high‑quality talent across a broad range of hotel functions. Full‑Cycle Recruitment Partner with property TA team to support recruitment efforts for high‑volume and hard‑to‑fill Director‑level roles, as well as General Manager positions across the LAC subregion. Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding coordination. Partner with hotel General Managers, HR leaders, and department heads to understand workforce needs and hiring priorities. Develop recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates across hospitality operations, leadership, and specialized roles. Ensure a high‑quality candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. Maintain consistent communication with hiring managers and candidates regarding hiring timelines and status updates. Sourcing & Talent Pipeline Development Build and maintain talent pipelines for Director and General Manager roles. Utilize multiple sourcing channels including LinkedIn, job boards, social media, referrals, hospitality networks, and local recruiting partnerships. Conduct proactive market mapping and talent outreach across key LAC markets. Support employer branding initiatives to strengthen Hyatt’s presence as an employer of choice within the region. New Hotel Opening Support Support recruitment of General Manager and LC roles for upcoming hotel openings across the region, until the HR Director is placed. Stakeholder Partnership Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers by providing guidance on talent availability, interview practices, compensation alignment, and hiring trends. Collaborate with regional HR leadership to support workforce planning initiatives. Foster strong working relationships across multiple countries, cultures, and business environments. Recruitment Operations & Compliance Maintain accurate candidate and requisition data within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Ensure compliance with local employment laws, company policies, and recruiting standards across applicable countries. Track recruiting metrics including time‑to‑fill, source effectiveness, candidate conversion, and hiring outcomes. Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, efficiency, and candidate quality. Qualifications Experience Required Demonstrated experience recruiting senior‑level hospitality leadership talent, including Director and/or General Manager positions. 3–7 years of full‑cycle recruiting experience, preferably within hospitality. Hospitality industry recruiting experience. Experience supporting hotel openings or large‑scale hiring initiatives. Spanish fluency strongly preferred; Portuguese fluency is a plus. Experience recruiting across Latin America and Caribbean markets. Knowledge of regional labor market dynamics and employment practices. Experience Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field, or equivalent experience preferred. Strong sourcing and candidate engagement skills. Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency with Taleo. Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
