We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Workato Engineer to join our team in a forward‑deployed, client‑facing role. This position is ideal for a hands‑on integration expert passionate about building scalable, agentic automation solutions alongside enterprise clients while helping accelerate Tenarai’s internal integration capabilities. You will work closely with customers and internal engineering teams to design, build, and optimize modern integration architectures using Workato and AI‑driven workflows. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain advanced Workato integrations and automation workflows. Build scalable integrations using recipes, connectors, triggers, actions, and robust error‑handling practices. Develop and manage API‑based solutions using API collections, API recipes, Recipe Functions, and callable recipes. Integrate enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, NetSuite, ServiceNow, Snowflake, and similar systems. Collaborate directly with enterprise clients to co‑build agentic integration solutions. Mentor and support junior/internal engineers throughout project engagements. Contribute to best practices around integration architecture, AI‑enabled workflows, and automation standards. Required Qualifications 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Workato. Strong expertise in: Recipes, connectors, triggers, actions, and error handling REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, webhooks, JSON, and custom connectors API collections, API recipes, Recipe Functions, and callable recipes Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to guide and mentor technical team members. Preferred Qualifications Workato Integration Developer Certification or equivalent practical portfolio. Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol), ideally within Workato Enterprise MCP environments. Exposure to Financial Services, FinCrime, AML, or Community FI domains. Previous experience working for a Workato SI partner or Workato directly. Experience developing LLM‑powered agents and AI workflows using tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor.
