What you’ll do: Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons aligned with the Cambridge Lower Secondary curriculum for Grade 7. Design engaging, differentiated, and inquiry-based learning experiences that promote critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving. Integrate real-world applications and interdisciplinary connections to make learning relevant and meaningful. Use a variety of formative and summative assessment strategies to monitor student progress and inform instruction. Maintain accurate records of student achievement and provide timely, constructive academic feedback. Classroom environment & student development Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that supports student well-being and learning. Build strong relationships with students based on respect, empathy, and high expectations. Encourage student agency, responsibility, and a growth mindset. Implement effective classroom management strategies aligned with school values and policies. Collaboration & professional responsibilities: Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum planning, interdisciplinary projects, and school initiatives. Participate actively in department meetings, professional development, parent conferences, and school events. Communicate effectively with students, families, and leadership regarding academic progress and student support.
