We are looking for a Big Data Software Engineer to join our NIQ Activate Technology team in Yokne'am Illit, Israel. This is a hybrid work environment with the expectation of being in the office 2-3 days a week. NIQ Activate is a leading provider of AI-powered customer analytics, personalization, and brand collaboration platform. Serving dozens of retailers and brands across the world using cutting‑edge Big Data, real‑time analytics, and data‑science automation. Our solution is disrupting existing data & media monetization models by enabling retailers to remain in control of their revenue. Job Description What you’ll do Configure and support live, ongoing, and trial client data feeds using the feed configurator. Deliver data via Snowflake and cloud storage platforms (e.g., Amazon S3). Monitor feed deliveries end‑to‑end, identifying upstream and downstream delays using BI dashboards and alerting tools (e.g., Opsgenie). Provide operational support for data pipelines and data delivery, partnering with data engineering, software engineering, and customer success teams. Troubleshoot data and delivery issues; coordinate with upstream data providers and technology partners as needed. Track, document, and escalate issues through a JIRA‑based ticketing system. Build and maintain dashboards to track feed health, delivery SLAs, and data availability. Qualifications We’re looking for candidates who have: BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical field. 3+ years of hands‑on experience with SQL and Python. Working knowledge of cloud platforms and data warehouses (Snowflake preferred). Experience monitoring data pipelines and identifying upstream/downstream data delays. Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail. Clear communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Comfortable working with globally distributed teams.
