About the Department The Maintenance Department provides technical support for the maintenance and reliability of critical manufacturing equipment used in the production of aerospace components. The team is responsible for the interpretation of technical manuals, spare parts information management, and the development of maintenance strategies for specialized equipment such as autoclaves, 5-axis CNC machines, and sandblast systems. Through collaboration with Production, Maintenance, and Quality teams, the department ensures equipment performance, operational efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. What You Will Learn Technical Documentation and Equipment Analysis: Develop the ability to interpret and analyze technical manuals in both English and Spanish for critical manufacturing equipment, including autoclaves, 5-axis CNC machines, and sandblast systems, gaining an understanding of their operation, components, and manufacturer recommendations regarding maintenance and safety. Maintenance Engineering and Reliability: Learn the fundamentals of equipment reliability by identifying critical spare parts, reviewing preventive maintenance strategies, and understanding manufacturer-recommended maintenance routines. Spare Parts Management: Gain experience in identifying, documenting, and organizing information related to equipment spare parts and critical components, supporting maintenance planning and inventory management activities. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, Maintenance, and Production teams to support technical projects, improvement initiatives, and the implementation of best practices focused on operational efficiency and equipment reliability. Technical Analysis and Continuous Improvement: Strengthen analytical and problem-solving skills by evaluating technical information and participating in initiatives aimed at improving maintenance processes and equipment performance. Basic Qualifications Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Aerospace Engineering student currently enrolled in the 6th semester or above, or equivalent. Reading comprehension proficiency in English. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of interpreting technical manuals for critical equipment such as autoclaves, 5-axis CNC machines, and sandblast processes. Ability to correlate technical information with spare parts and manufacturer-recommended maintenance routines. Position Type On site: Employees in onsite positions perform their job responsibilities primarily at the work location.
