About the Role As a Manufacturing Engineer specializing in Control and PLC systems, you will provide technical support across all plant departments, analyzing, evaluating, and proposing engineering changes to resolve product and manufacturing issues. You will manage pilot builds, validate assembly processes, report BOM issues, and implement reliable procedures. You'll also oversee automation upgrades, PLC programming, and controls troubleshooting, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity goals are met. Key Responsibilities Deliver technical support to all plant departments by addressing and resolving issues related to manufacturing processes. Review and carry out Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), ensuring all documentation is accurate and procedures are correctly followed. Lead and coordinate pilot assembly trials for new products and engineering changes. Verify accuracy and reliability of Bills of Materials (BOMs). Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs for manufacturing equipment and automation systems. Interpret and validate electrical diagrams (Control & Power) and assembly drawings. Support installation, validation, and certification of new manufacturing equipment and processes. Drive structured root‑cause analysis and corrective action implementation. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and productivity standards. Manage technical projects, including scope, timelines, risks, and stakeholder communication. Collaborate with Quality, Production, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to ensure operational continuity. Requirements Proficiency in conversational English, both written and spoken, is required. Candidates must have a valid passport and visa. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic engineering or a related field. Minimum +5 years of experience in manufacturing or advanced manufacturing engineering. Experience reading and interpreting assembly drawings, electrical diagrams (Control & Power), and Bills of Materials (BOMs). Experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting. Experience managing or supporting technical projects. Background In PLC programming and industrial automation systems. Electrical control systems and power distribution diagrams. HVAC systems knowledge is a plus. Engineering change implementation processes. Root cause analysis methodologies. Manufacturing process validation and certification. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) projects. Experience in implementing new manufacturing equipment. Knowledge of structured problem‑solving methodologies (8D, DMAIC, A3, etc.). Experience in production or manufacturing environments.
