Packaging Manager The incumbent is primarily responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the activities of production department operations which also includes performance of all functions within the department. Requisitos Bachelor’s or associate degree from a college or university At least 5 years related experience in a managerial role or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least 5 years Die Cutting and Folder gluers experience (40” format and 57” format) with brands like Bobst, K & B, Iberica, SBL, Brausse, and others. Excellent interpersonal communications skills and personal computer proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Mail, Word, PowerPoint) and Internet Explorer. Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency to speak English as a second language, read and comprehend complex topics, and converse with corporate, sales, customers, and suppliers. Responsabilidades Manage and report to the VP of Operations all process performance KPIs, and the P&L targets every month and deploy these targets to the next organizational levels. Lead, coach, mentor, motivate and inspire direct reports to achieve an optimum level of performance by consistently demonstrating role model behaviors that include sense of urgency, accountability, effective communication, teamwork, empathy and results orientation and time management. Maintain employee awareness and adherence to ISO standards and procedures and to all Social Responsibility codes (internal and external). Participate in and satisfactorily complete all required training programs for the assigned position including Compliance Training. Evaluate and provide training as needed, setting in place a long‑term training strategy. Conduct annual performance reviews for direct reports in a timely manner. Recommend increases in compensation in accordance with pre‑determined guidelines. Support open door policy and positive counseling process to correct behavioral or performance issues. Keeps a clean facility environment that enhances plant safety and ensures that equipment is maintained and operated in a safe manner. Have an effective and efficient escalation process at all levels.
