What you will be doing: Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for databases, supporting deployments, upgrades, configurations, and operational changes. Develop and enhance automation solutions to manage database changes at scale across cloud environments. Collaborate with global teams to support and improve database operations for large-scale environments (2,000+ databases). Contribute to the development and maintenance of DevOps tooling using technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, GitHub Actions, and PowerShell. Support a hybrid role, primarily focused on development and automation, while being open to assisting with database-related (DBA‑adjacent) tasks when needed. What you will likely bring: Strong developer mindset, with solid problem‑solving and analytical skills. Hands‑on experience building or developing pipelines and automation solutions. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to DevOps practices and tools, even if not coming from a pure DevOps background. Solid understanding of databases and SQL Server fundamentals, including how database changes impact environments. Familiarity with cloud environments, particularly Azure. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and analyze failures in automated workflows. Comfortable working in a global, distributed team environment with strong communication skills. Open mindset toward learning and adopting new technologies, including AI‑driven solutions. What could set you apart: Professional experience in DevOps or automation‑focused roles.
