Production Planner is sought by a global manufacturing company to coordinate and control production schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources, on-time delivery, and alignment with customer requirements. Overview Production Planner responsibilities include developing and maintaining production schedules based on demand forecasts, capacity, and material availability, and ensuring ERP/MRP data accuracy. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field. 3+ years of experience in production planning or materials planning (manufacturing industry preferred). Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar). Experience in demand planning, scheduling, and capacity analysis. Solid understanding of lean manufacturing and supply chain processes. Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively and work cross-functionally. Intermediate to advanced English for corporate and customer communication. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts, capacity, and material availability. Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, and operations to ensure on-time delivery. Monitor WIP, inventory levels, and adjust plans to balance demand and resources. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of data in ERP/MRP systems. Prepare reports and KPI dashboards on production performance. Support new product launches with planning and scheduling activities. Collaborate with purchasing and materials teams to prevent shortages or excess stock. Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts to avoid downtime. Drive continuous improvement in planning and scheduling processes. Support internal and external audits related to production planning and materials management.
