Purpose The Senior Area Sales Manager for Mexico is responsible for growing and developing ComAp's commercial presence across the Mexican market. The role is expected to meet and exceed agreed business targets by building strong relationships with distributors, system integrators, EPCs, and end-users in the power generation and hybrid microgrid segments. The ideal candidate is a seasoned technical sales professional with deep industry roots, capable of operating independently while collaborating closely with the regional LATAM team. Key Responsibilities Drive revenue growth across both product and solution sales in the Power Generation and Hybrid Microgrid segment Manage and develop the existing distributor channel network across Mexico, ensuring strategic engagement and commercial alignment Identify and pursue new business opportunities with EPCs, system integrators, data center developers, utilities, and end-user Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with key accounts and decision-makers across target vertical Prepare and independently submit technical and commercial proposals, bids, and tender responses Support the development of annual sales budgets and rolling forecasts in coordination with the LATAM Managing Director Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify new verticals and opportunities Provide timely reporting on pipeline health, open opportunities, and market intelligence Represent ComAp at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings Collaborate with the LATAM application engineering team to ensure technical proposals meet customer requirements Education University degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering — required Experience 15 to 20 years of total professional experience Minimum 10 years in sales within the power generation, distributed energy, or industrial technology sector Proven experience managing distributor networks and/or key accounts across Mexico Track record in complex, consultative, technical solution selling — not transactional Exposure to hybrid microgrid systems, battery energy storage (BESS), or generator control systems is a strong differentiator Experience engaging with EPCs, data center developers, utilities, or energy storage integrators is highly valued Technical Skills Strong working knowledge of power generation systems, including diesel and gas genset control Understanding of hybrid and microgrid architectures, including battery storage and renewable integration Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and commercial tender documents Proficiency in CRM tools and standard business software Familiarity with system integration concepts and power design is a plus Soft Skills Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences Strong customer orientation and relationship management abilities Results-driven, with the ability to manage a full territory independently and prioritize effectively Collaborative team player who can work across functions and geographies Entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable building and developing a market with limited hand-holding Languages Spanish: native or fully fluent — required English: professional working level — required Other Valid driver's license Availability for frequent domestic travel across Mexico and occasional international travel
