Workday Payroll Consultant I Location: Monterrey, MX, Torre Hélice Av San Jerónimo 1104, piso 19, Col. San Jeronimo Monterrey, N.L. C.P. 64640 Mandatory in‑office training daily from June 2026 through July 2026, Monday through Friday. Hybrid: 3 days per week in office after training. Responsibilities Work directly with clients to design, configure, test, and implement Workday Payroll solutions across multiple industries to meet, enhance and optimize the client’s business needs. Define, build and implement Payroll processes and structure, in alignment with client’s business objectives and needs, enhancing the client’s experience and value of the Workday software. Work directly with clients, solving Workday Payroll issues as they arise. Actively participate in internal training updates and opportunities to share one’s skills and learnings with others within the organization. Attend Workday Payroll training and become Workday certified. Travel 30%-50% at client request. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree, preferable in Human Resources, Computer Science, Accounting/Finance, Computer Engineering, or related IT/Business discipline; or equivalent experience. (required) Fluent in English. (required) Experience with manipulating data in Microsoft Excel using functions and/or macros. (required) 1+ years client interfacing or consulting experience. (preferred) Previous software implementation experience. (preferred) 1+ years experience running, processing, auditing payroll. (preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral. Ability to interact and collaborate effectively with clients and co-workers in a positive manner that engenders confidence and trust. Good problem solver with ability to consider alternative and diverse perspectives. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
