Key Responsibilities Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans, learning activities, and educational games that align with the preschool curriculum. Supervise and engage children during classroom activities, playtime, meals, and outdoor play to ensure safety and promote positive behavior. Reinforce classroom rules and guide children in developing appropriate social and emotional skills. Help set up and organize classroom materials, resources, and displays to support hands‑on learning and creativity. Maintain a safe and clean environment by ensuring classroom spaces are tidy and free from hazards; assist with sanitizing toys, surfaces, and equipment. Provide individualized support through one‑on‑one or small group assistance for children who need extra help with activities or emotional support. Observe children’s development and behavior, communicating concerns or notable progress to the lead teacher. Support routines and transitions, such as arrivals, departures, toileting, meals, and rest time, fostering independence and consistency. Model respectful, inclusive, and cooperative behavior to promote a positive classroom culture. Collaborate closely with the lead teacher and other staff to ensure consistency in teaching practices and child care. Adaptability – comfortable adjusting to changes in schedule or child needs. Cultural sensitivity – respectful and inclusive of all backgrounds and abilities. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree Lic.
